My name is William Martínez, founder of AREA DOGS. I have spent more than 10 years training dogs and teaching their human handlers to understand, not simply control, them. Through experience, I have learned something powerful: success with your dog doesn't begin when you teach commands like "sit" or "stay." It starts much earlier, when you decide which dog to get, how you prepare for their arrival, and what language you use to communicate with them.
Always accompanied by Trixy, his loyal Belgian Malinois, William combines his passion, knowledge, and experience to inspire and guide new handlers on the incredible adventure of sharing their lives with a dog.
